Wonder Works is huge supporter of Lowcountry Local First, whose initiative is advocating for those businesses that make Charleston a vital, creative and unique place to live, those businesses that put more dollars back into our local economy.
Buy Local Month. November 15 to December 15, is currently in its seventh year, the goal being to educate the public and shift consumer spending, keeping holiday dollars flowing within our local economy. Wonder Works’ Employee Book About Adoption Featured As Part Of National Adoption Month!
In Honor of National Adoption Month, Wonder Works would like to feature Jaime Gregory’s book about adoption, “That’s My Baby!”. Jaime was inspired to write “That’s My Baby!” when she and her husband were encouraged to adopt their second child. This book is her eldest child’s perception of the entire experience:
When Noah learns his parents are going to adopt, he gets to join in the ups and downs, the waiting, the joy, and the fun. Follow Noah and his family in this journey of International adoption, as seen through the eyes of a soon to be older brother.
Jaime’s cousin illustrates all of her books, which we all think is wonderfuntastical! Purchase her book at Wonder Works in honor of National Adoption Month!
