Wonder Works Owner Christine Osborne Interviewed for Christian Royal Documentary at Downtown Store
Last Friday, Wonder Works Owner Christine Osborne was interviewed at the downtown Wonder Works store by a national film crew doing a documentary on Christian Royal, a 19-year-old Charleston resident with Down Syndrome who creates one-of-a-kind, beautiful pottery pieces that Wonder Works carries.
Before she co-founded Wonder Works, Christine was an occupational therapist who got her degree because she loved working with people with Down Syndrome. Having a film crew in the store doing a feature on Christian, she says, was a very emotional experience for her as it has brought her journey and professional career full-circle. “There is no way anyone could plan that – it’s a God thing!” she says.
We’ll keep you posted on when Christian’s documentary will be released. We can’t wait to watch the story of one of our favorite local artists!
Did you know Wonder Works carries a range of Christian Royal pottery? Visit any one of our stores today for our wide selection of gorgeous, one-of-a-kind pieces. A portion of all of Christian’s sales go to the Down Syndrome Association of the Lowcountry and S.C. Protection & Advocacy.
