Thursday evening, Wonder Works downtown got to brush shoulders with a top politician! Our store in the newly renovated historic Great Hall at the City Market was aflutter with activity when security, cameramen and crowds swarmed the area. Turns out Vice President Joe Biden’s wife Jill Biden was in town, and she came through the new Market for a post-dinner tour passing right by Wonder Works!

Sammy the Wonder Dachshund Author Jonathan Miller Signing Books at Wonder Works!

We’re so happy to host local Charleston author Jonathan Miller at our new downtown store for a book signing! Jonathan is the author of The Adventures of Sammy the Wonder Dachshund book series, including our personal favorite, Sammy’s Last Week in Charleston.

Jonathan will be at our downtown store twice this month: Wednesday, August 10th from 12-4 p.m., and Wednesday, August 17th from 12-4 p.m. Mark your calendars, and come on out!
