The Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run and Wonderfest is in the Final Stages of Planning!!!

Wonder Works, The Cooper River Bridge Run, and our Charity Partners are hard at work in the final stages of planning for the CRBR Kids Run and Wonderfest, happening April 5, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. in Hampton Park!

It is SPRING BREAK for Charleston and Berkeley County schools that week, so we are sooooo excited to bring you a festival of epic proportions! We’re talking outdoor activities, music, games, glitter tattoos, free toys, crazy hair hats, toy demonstrations, and so much more!!!! And then the finale of the all day FREE FESTIVAL is the CRBR Kids Run that starts at 5 p.m.

This year the Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run is teaming up with Wonder Works to provide one of the most wonderfuntastical kid events in the nation — The Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run & Wonderfest!!

This is going to be an all-day festival that you and your children will not want to miss! HURRY! Wonderific Award Nominations End Sunday

We know you know lots of COOL kids doing SUPER COOL things for the community! Nominate them today for the Wonderific Award!

From helping neighbors to starting nonprofits, children throughout the Charleston tri-county area make a difference every day through volunteerism, fundraising efforts and community service. The Wonderific Community Service Award was created to acknowledge their contributions as part of Philanthropy Week of the Lowcountry, November 12-November 18, 2012, and Wonder Works is proud to be a sponsor!

Criteria: 
1) Community service must have taken place October 1, 2011 – September 30, 2012;
2) Child must be under the age of 18 at the time of service;
3) A clear demonstration of how a child initiated and followed through in community service – fundraising and/or volunteerism in any of the following areas: school, organization, church, neighborhood or club in 250 words or less;
4) Child must currently reside in the Charleston Tri-County area of Charleston, Berkeley or Dorchester Counties.
