As part of our PGA week festivities at our Freshfields Village store, you can also meet two of our favorite local authors who are signing their books at Wonder Works now through Sunday!

Author Jonathan Miller, creator of Sammy the Wonder Dachshund series, is here every day now through Sunday, August 12th from 10-4 p.m. Then, meet Randy Bazemore, author of The Legend of the Putter Frog, from 4-10 p.m.!

What’s even cooler? Artist Tate Nation will also be in-store signing his amazing Charleston puzzles! Pick up a copy of the book and a box of the puzzle, and have the gift personalized with a signature from their creators! Here’s their schedule:

Toys, puzzles, books AND puppies and kittens…what better way to spend a Saturday shopping before the holiday? In case you need more temptation…here’s a video of two of the puppies that will be up for adoption.

Come on out to the downtown Wonder Works store this afternoon from 12-4 p.m. to meet local author Jonathan Miller! Jonathan is the author of the Adventures of Sammy the Wonder Dachshund series, including our personal favorite Sammy’s Last Week in Charleston.

Our downtown store is located in the Great Hall at the City Market, 188 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC.

One of our favorite local charities, Pet Helpers, is having a contest on their Facebook page to win one of our featured book series, Sammy the Wonder Dachshund! Here are the details:

Submit a photo of you and your pet on an adventure ( a trip to the beach, car ride, etc) to contest@pethelpers.org and you could win a SIGNED copy of one of his books! Deadline for submission is Aug 10th. Winners are chosen by YOU through ‘likes.’
